My AWESOME Birthday Party

I am so sorry that I have not blogged in so long, I have been very busy with school and sports, but now that it is summer, I will try to keep up!! So here it goes my first post sense FOREVER!!!
So this year I turned 12 and I had a birthday party with my friends from church!!!!I am so happy that I am in Young Woman’s!!! It is way better than Primary!  I am 2nd counselor in the Beehive presidency, and it is tons of fun! Also Girls Camp is this Monday, CANT WAIT!!!!! So for my birthday party me and my friends went to one of ladies in our wards house! She met with me before hand and helped me pick out what I wanted, and then when we arrived, she had the CUTEST journals you have ever seen!! Everyone made their own and we had a very fun time. Afterwards we went back to my house for cake, ice cream and presents!! It was an awesome party!! And guess what? I got a CELL PHONE!!! I was so happy

This was my very first modeling gig. It was a runway shoot for a very upscale, artsy shop in downtown Portland. The clothes are really for women, but they were looking for a way to show them in a different way. It was being filmed and it will be in a showcase for an art festival. And for publicity for their shop. It was just me and one other girl. We wore all these extremely expensive clothes and walked up a dark set of red stairs. It was really “ARTSY”. I was really nervous but way excited at the same time. I hope I get to do more work in the future, I had tons of fun. Thank You mom, for taking me all the way out in the snow into the middle of Downtown. I know how much you don’t like driving there. Well, I hope you like the pictures. They are sending me the DVD of the finished product and maybe I can post some of it on here when I get it.

Hair. After getting up early so my mom could straighten my hair, they ended up just putting it up anyway. Oh well.
Make-up. They wanted me to have these really dark eyebrows. Don't ask me why.
This was a really great dress and it only cost $290.00 but check out the necklace. It retails at $800.00. My mom was having a fit the whole time I had it on. She was afraid I was going to break it and we would have to pay for it. :)

This outfit I would actually wear....if only I had an extra $500.00 to spare. The jeans alone were $170.00. but they were so cute.
This was the grand finale outfit. I only had a tank top and shear tights under this cape and I was afraid the whole time it would fly open and every one would see my undies.

My last night with MollyJo and Timmy

Okay, My Aunt and Uncle have left Oregon and are now back in Arizona. It is really sad because now we don't have any close family up here. I really miss them. Right before they left, they came over and spent the night hanging out at our house. MollyJo taught me how to make a hat and scarfs and Timmy gave me an adjustment. Plus we played games and just talked and joked around. I don't think I will even see them until this summer. That seems like such a long time from now.

This year since we just got back from Disney World, we had a small Christmas. Santa brought us one gift and filled our stockings and my mom and dad bought us a gift. It was such a nice Christmas. I got everything I wanted and I was even surprised with a Swatch and the Lost season 3 DVD set. (my mom says it is really a family gift, but since I'm the one obsessed with it, I got it). Having a small Christmas (gift wise) helps me remember the true meaning of Christmas and why we celebrate it in the first place. Merry Christmas to every one!!!

Neighborhood party

Every Christmas my neighborhood goes crazy. This year we had a huge party complete with a Christmas decoration scavenger hunt around the neighborhood for the kids. There was a way cool snowman with snow shooting out of his hat. There was a horse drawn carriage with jingle bells on the biggest horses I’ve ever seen. Cookies, candy, meatballs, cheese, crackers, even roasted chestnuts, and of course our famous chocolate fountain with all the stuff to dip. And at the end all the kids got a present. We all had tons of fun and I am so glad bubba, Amy, Noah, and Ethan could join us!!!!
