they say it's your birthday

Wednesday was my friend Caroline's birthday! I love Caroline. She is the funniest and sweetest person I know. :)

On Friday, a few friends and I threw her a surprise birthday party. It was a blast!

A quick note on the pants I'm wearing: these are the best pants EVER. I borrowed them from my friend Laura. Her crazy neighbor bought them for her at grocery outlet for 2 bucks or something like that. They are huge on me, but soooooo comfortable. I am never giving these pants back. Are you reading this Laura? You will never see these pants again.

Anywho, Happy happy birthday Caroline dear! Happy days will come to you all year! :)

Beach Trip!!

This past summer was amazing!! I did so many cool things, but I didn't blog about ANY of it! So I decided to make a few blog posts about the many adventures I had last summer. First is the Young Women and Young Men beach trip!! Each summer the youth spend a day at the beach! We explored the woods, jumped waves, watched the surfers, roasted marshmallows, and had tons of fun! I cant wait for our next beach trip! Here are some pictures of the fun day:
