FILM // LAST SUMMER

I finally got my film from last summer developed. Here's a few of my favorite shots.

THINGS THAT I WANT TO REMEMBER ABOUT NYE:

typical dumb stake dance pictures. getting a second use out of my prom dress. bright red lips. embracing my wild hair. jeremiah's scary new haircut. brendon's skinny belt. witnessing some weirdos get arrested. for having pot. in a mormon dance. like...what were they thinking? people dressed up as disney characters. when sammy did the gangnam style dance on stage and i could have sworn he was going to throw up. that awkward guy that asked me to slow dance during a fast song and then tried to do all this fancy foot work and i was like, "DUDE!I.CAN'T.DANCE." being told i look like angelina jolie multiple times.

We went to Stanford's for dinner with all of our friends,

arrived fashionably late to the dance,

and then stayed out way too late eating ice cream and playing games.

It was such a blast,

and I couldn't have asked for a better date. 

well guys. it's been awhile.

school has been slowly but surely taking over my life.

i am going to college presentations on monday and tuesday.

which makes me feel really old.

other things that make me feel really old:

driving. like, legitimately driving. on a road. to church.

studying for SATs. kill me now.

paying for dinner. with a credit card.

people asking me if i'm in college.
having friends going on missions.

and the fact that i am almost 16. so weird...

in other news: i went to another dance last night.

and yes, i saw the cutie in the button up.

but no, he did not dance with me.

he did give me the heads-up-whats-up, though. so that was cool.

But guess what? I met somebody better.

he was wearing a red bowtie and red suspenders.

can you say "dream come true?"

he bumped into me and when i turned around to see who it was i almost died.

then he touched my shoulder and said: "i am so. sorry."

no big deal.

this week, 3 people told me i was a good singer.
{which is, funny because i am totally not. proof here.}
and 2 people asked me if i was a singer, and when i answered "hahaha. no." they said:
"really? you look like you would be a really good singer!"
..........................
what does that even mean?

speaking of good singers, have you heard this girl?
she is so great, i can hardly stand it.

Why I Love My Friends

I have the greatest friends ever. They made this petition to give to my mom. And even though it didnt work, It made me really happy. :)

1. The other day a friend of mine handed me a piece of paper with this picture on it. She told me she saw it on the internet and thought of me.

3. Okay, okay. I know this picture was in my last "5 Things I love Sunday" post, but listen up dudes. You see how I am missing a tooth in that picture? Well, not any more! Hallelujah!! I now have both canine teeth in my mouth. Which means I am that much closer to getting my braces off. Heck.Yes.

4. This song. Its a pretty awesome cover of a already awesome song. I'm loving Lady Danville nowadays.

5. The adorable blog, Nat the Fat Rat. I've been sick the past few days and I've spent alot of time looking at her blog. This girl cracks me up! ( I really like one of her older posts about red lipstick.)

Stake Dances!!

Last night I went to the best Stake Dance in the world! I knew so many people there! It was a Cowboy/Cowgirl theme, so I got to wear jeans. :)
It was my friend Katharine's last dance (she is moving to Virginia next week), so she took lots of pictures. :)

Cassidy Dixon turned 14 on the 5th, so this was her very first dance! Needless to say, Cassidy Squared rocks the dances. :)
