Treated Like A Princess

Once a year for Young Women’s, we have a super activity. That is, if you are all caught up on your personal progress. And you want to be because they always go all out. This year was my first experience and it was Awesome. We were told to dress up nice and they would be by to pick us up at a certain time. Little did I know that it would be in a super deluxe stretch limo. They took us to a fancy dinner and then to see “Oklahoma.” We did have to leave early because there was a really bad scene with pornography in it. Our leaders were so upset some were even crying. It was okay because the play company gave us our money back and we were able to have another activity at a later date. We then went to one of the leaders house and had dessert ordered in from a fancy restaurant. I had crème bru’lee. It was to die for. Everyone kept asking me if I knew what I was ordering and thanks to my mom (it’s her favorite dessert) I knew. We played tons of games and talked and giggled the night away. And since we left the play early we had extra time and we used that time to talk about what had happened and how we stood up for what we believed in and left the play and how we can use that experience in the future if we are at a movie or a party or anywhere where there is something going on that we don’t agree with or don’t want to be a part of. I know I can just stand up and leave. And in some cases even get my money back.

We all got long stem roses.
inside the stretch limo.
Don't we look coolio?

CasiDee you are just an angel! I'm going to make sure that my kids all read this post. I want my boys to read this so that they can see the special Daughter of God that You are. You are the kind of young woman every mother wants their sons to marry! I want Brilynn to read it and see your wonderful example. Thank you! We just love and adore you.
I'm glad you enjoyed your evening and that it turned out so good even with having a to leave the play early. See good things can come from even not so good of things!
Lots of Hugs, JoLynn
