LET'S NOT TALK ABOUT HOW GRAINY THESE PICTURES ARE.

Instead, let's talk about how my friends & I are children & spend all of our free time at the nickel arcade.
Also how I was chased & yelled at by a crazy grown man during lazer tag the other night & basically saw my life flash before my eyes.
Good times.

18 CANDLES

On Friday I turned 18.
Which is really freaking weird because, woah, adulthood.
I've got three months left of my senior year, I've decided on a college (more on this coming soon), I have a job, I even had to pay taxes this year.
Life is kinda weird sometimes. But it's a good weird, ya feel me?
Shoutout to everyone that helped make my 18th birthday such a great one.
I know everyone says this, but I've seriously got the best friends & family in the whole wide world.

SOMETIMES TRESPASSING IS FUN

The other day I took some senior photos of my beautiful friend Bailee.
Check them out over here.

THE CRAZIEST PHOTOSHOOT OF MY LIFE

The other day my good friend Haley asked if I would model for her. We had this awesome idea of a Lana Del Rey/Priscilla Presley inspired shoot with big hair and red lips and vintage clothing and it was going to be magical, right? Wrong.
I'll spare you all the details but basically everything went wrong. We made the mistake of going to a beauty school to get my hair done, it took literally four hours, and by the time we were done and ready to take pictures it was pitch black outside. Amongst other things.
Not wanting all the time we spent on hair and make up to go to waste, we snapped a few photos outside (which passersby absolutely loved. I got all kinds of comments yelled by hipsters as they sped by on their bikes. Everything from "You look like a manikin!" to "What is she doing...?" to "WURK IT GUUURL!").
Then the owners of this cute little coffee shop/furniture store/plant growing place let us come into their store and take some pictures as they were closing up. They were so kind and we ended up quoting how to lose a guy in ten days the whole entire time.
Happy with how the pictures were coming out, Haley and I parted our separated ways with plans to go back out to Portland the next day and take more photos.
Then, not even five minutes into my drive home, I was rear-ended.
So it was a pretty crazy photoshoot, to say the least.
But Haley is a miracle worker or a magician or something, because the photos turned out amazing.

PS, check out Haley's facebook page here!

AND THEN IT SNOWED

The thing with Oregon is that it rains and rains and rains and rains, but as soon as the temperature hits 32 degrees the rain magically stops and we never get snow. ever.
So when it started snowing on Thursday the town went bonkers. School got out at noon and then didn't open back up till Tuesday, grocery stores and malls and basically every other store closed down, even church was canceled! (which I was very upset about, obviously....)
Having lived in upstate New York for 2 years, we're pretty used to the snow. A foot of snow is nothing to us, but it's pretty funny to see how all the other Portlanders react.

Of course when I looked out the window, all I saw was photoshoot, photoshoot, photoshoot.
Here are a few fun photos that were taken that day!

I'VE BEEN A BAD BLOGGER

The other day I got a text from my friend that said, "you need to blog."
And that's when I realized that I've kinda been a pretty terrible blogger, ya feel?
So here's to trying to keep up with this silly little corner of the internet that I call mine.
I'll be trying my best to post about all of my senior-year adventures soon.

Until then, here's a few tid-bits about my life lately:

+My life has been taken over by my A.P Photography class.

+I think I liked Juan Pablo better when he was quiet and mysterious. Also, I seriously need subtitles at all times please and thank you.

+Mindy Kailing tweeted Ezra Koenig and that's when the world exploded.

+I spent last weekend at sunriver with some of my favorite people and we talked about sex a lot so that was fun.

+This inspired me beyond belief.

+I turn 18 in 2 weeks so that's weird.

+I've been excepted to college and I am SO freaking excited for the fall.

BEHIND THE SCENES

I took some pictures of my softball playing friend Cerena the other day.
