dear boy in the striped button up,

i really like your style. i love your ray bans and the way you rolled your jeans two inches above your ankles. i also love your hair. it reminded me of james dean. not gonna lie, i kinda wanted to run my fingers through it. okay, i really wanted to run my fingers through it.

wait, you don't remember me? we met at the dance saturday night...remember? okay. so maybe i'm using the term "met" loosely. i saw you, and i may or may not have stalked you. i don't think you noticed me. but it's all good! i'll wear my ray bans to the next dance. that way, we can have something to bond over.

we will be best friends one day. and you will let me run my fingers through your beautiful hair.
just you wait and see.

love,
CasiDee

first day of school

 {Shirt: J.Crew, Jeans: Calvin Klein, Shoes: Cole Haan, Watch: Swatch.}

So. I have a teacher that looks like Zach Galifianakis. His voice cracks all the time. He laughs at his own jokes. My English teacher is super cool and hipster. She has Ray Ban cat-eye glasses. She wears red lipstick and dark eyeliner. Her walls are painted Tiffany Blue and she has vintage picture frames everywhere. My Seminary class is full of freshmen. Which is great, because I like to pick on Freshmen. (kidding.) (mostly.)
I sat next to this random guy on the bus today. His name was Alfonzo. I asked him if I could call him Fonzie, and he said yes. Then I gave him the thumbs up and said: "ayyyyy!"
He looked at me like I was crazy.
He told me that he has a son. I asked him how old he is, and he said: "One year."
"One year? Wow!" I responded.
"Well...he's almost 1 year...he's about 20 months...I think."
I was seriously this close to laughing. It was really, really hard to keep a straight face.

(lets pretend my eyes are open in this picture, okay?)

My dad just said: "Remember that time when I was in love with Zac Efron?"
I have no idea what that means...

Anyways, I have a feeling that Sophomore year is gonna rock.

Love,
CasiDee

Last Week Of Summer

this week i:

- Went to olive garden with Laura and Erik. Accidently laughed when our waitress said her name was Latoya. Erik called her "La-toyota." Ate my weight in breadsticks. Drove around town singing at the top of our lungs. Went to the grocery store and bought face paint so Erik could dress up as the Joker. Convinced Erik to grow his hair out like James Dean. Watched Monk and Lost.

- Bought the most beautiful boat shoes ever! I also bought a pair of toms. (Pictures coming soon.)

- Decorated my binder. (I am seriously so proud of this thing.)

- Had a sleepover Laura. We did dishes (see the 5th picture...hehe) stalked our old missionaries on Facebook and watched 3 episodes of Lost. (We are almost done with the series!)

-Went to Ward Softball and found out that I totally rock at boxing. Yo Adrian!

- Went to the library. The man checking me out (I mean, checking my books out) tried to have a whole conversation with me about Alfred Hitchcock. It was awkward...

-Made an 80's music video.

-And ate way to much ice cream for one week.

School, here I come!
